Highlands 여행길에 오르다 (08.25~08.27)

2012년 8월24일 오전에 논문 제출을 마치고 그날 저녁 7시 40분 Coach로 에딘버러로 향했다.

3일 간의 Highlands투어 Skye High(8월25일 ~ 8월27일)에 참여하기 위해서..

밑의 지도 위에 선이 내가 여행한 루트.

일정은 그야말로 정말 빡세다. 그래도 볼 건 다 보고 오는 일정. 알차다!
Day 1: Edinburgh to Loch Ness
- the capital of Stirling,
- Home to legends such as William Wallace and Robert the Bruce
- Scene of many of Scotland's most famous and bloody battles in the Wars of Independence
- The 'Weeping Glen' and site of the massacre of 1692
- The Great Glen and under the shadow of Ben Nevis

Day 2: Isle of Skye
- The 'winged isle' or 'Isle of Mist' with its ruined castles, awesome scenery and home to the legendary MacLeod and MacDonald Clans
- The windswept landscape and brooding Red and Black Cuillin Mountain ranges
- Hike through this stunning environment before
- Eilean Donan Castle
- Loch Ness, searching for a glimpse of the legendary beast

Day 3: Loch Ness to Edinburgh
- Culloden Battlefield, site of the last major battle on British soil
- Whisky Tour (Bell's, one of the Highland distilleries)
- Inverness, the capital of the Highlands
